In late 2008, the Collectors Gallery at The Oakland Museum of California was closed. In the near future I expect representation through another gallery, and I will notify my clients and mailing list upon that event. Please check this space for future news.
I have begun work on a new project to suit the requirements of a San Francisco gallery. For a time I will have limited ability to accept new portfolio clients. For information, please email me at photos@remer.com.
DIGITAL: I have added more digital equipment for quick studio tests of fine art figure photography, which is still shot on negatives and printed in the darkroom for gallery art.
PHOTO BOOK:
Rotovision of the U.K. has published its Better Picture Guide to Photographing Nudes, which contains some of my work.
UNITED NATIONS FAO:
The U.N.'s Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) presented a seminar entitled "Furrows and Deltas." The presentation included landscape photographs intermingled with my "bodyscape" prints.
AMERICAN CENTER FOR WINE,FOOD AND THE ARTS:
Following the U.N. seminar, the lecture and photographs were reprinted in the publication "Copia," the journal of the American Center for Wine, Food and the Arts; Napa, California.
OAKLAND MUSEUM / GALLERY EXHIBIT:
Collectors Gallery at the Oakland Museum of California featured my solo exhibit, "The Abstract Woman" -- 23 fine art nude prints. The gallery retained several prints for continued exhibit and sale.
